§ 1-1-102. Signature by mark.

In addition to the provisions of §§ 4-3-401 , 7-5-305 , 7-7-308 , 27-14-705 , and 28-25-103 , a signature by mark on a document is legal for the purposes of executing the document if the signature is: Made by a person who at the time of signature lacks the ability to: Write; or Sign his or her name; and Witnessed by at least one (1) disinterested person.
